The Essence of CV Writing

The most important task of a curriculum vitae from the HR manager’s point of view is to filter unsuitable applicants.

It must contain the staff specification (qualification, experience, possibly language knowledge). If it contains this precisely, unsuitable applicants can be filtered out (it is supposed that 90 per cent of the applicants are not suitable for the essential criteria.)

Instead of this: It is the best if ice cooled, Cola ... pure drink of natural flavours. The advertisement does not lie just presents the information adequately. It is more difficult to sell workforce because we are standing opposite a rational consumer but the presentation of information is of big significance. Let us get acquainted with the needs.

Strange Questions During Job Interviews

The majority of job seekers already know that questions that may appear during job interviews hardly ever occur in our everyday talks. “What is his most serious mistake, where would he like to be in five years’ time?” There are hardly any inexperienced candidates who would be surprised by questions like these. Although, the world turns round even with the experienced job hunter when the leader of the interview asks “what kind of animal would you like to be, and why?”

If The Salary Was Not Mentioned

If it is possible, we should wait until the employer brings up the topic of the payment. If it is too early, starting talking about the money by you is a mistake, because then you seem to be materialistic. It is better if the discussion of salary starts when you have already sold yourself, that is the employer sees you as a desirable person who is worth taking on.

If the employer offers very little, let him know immediately. However, you can count on the fact that you have to make a statement.

An experienced job hunter knows well that he has to enclose his motivational letter in the envelope beside the curriculum vitae.
