5 Golden Rules in Job Interview

Do not tell off the previous employer.

Do not bring up the salary during the interview, except from the case when the interviewer does not talk about allocations, then you have to ask about it.

Do not interrupt the interviewer and do not argue with him.

Show confidence but do not be arrogant.

You can be natural, calm and honest. (This does not mean that we have to tell everything about ourselves that is compromising, only abstaining from role-playing.)

Troubleshooting - Problems in Your CV

Problems and solutions

You want to get a job not in the field you are qualified for.

Emphasize your work experience and the results you have achieved until now in your work.
Emphasize those moments of your qualification (for example those subjects), that are related to the desired position you want to apply for.
Express your willingness (or plans) to study and develop yourself in the new area.

Express your intention to work on the given area and explain why you have selected this area.
Emphasize experience attained while working and within it the skills you can transfer (for example writing skills, communicative skills, being able to organize, etc.).

Job interview questions

A simple recipe: “Sincerity is the secret of success. If you can pretend even this, you are a made man.” Who can play a role really well can turn into a superb marketing manager, or an actor, maybe a politician. Then you do not have to go regularly to job interviews. Most people play roles badly. It is necessary to tell the truth possibly in everything. If the applicant wants to say something in another way, he has to plan it in advance. The most important thing is that it cannot be a role-play because it leads to stiffness.

You must not forget that the position interview is a two-way street. The interviewer tries to sell the firm, and the applicant can say at the end that he thanks for the opportunity but he does not want to make the best of it.

The employer’s HR motivations

Searching for a position is selling your workforce. All sales mean satisfying demands, the consumer’s supposed or real needs. You should know the employer's motivations to be able to satisfy them. This is the base of all the good CVs, all of the succesful job interviews.

Cola. I have a kind of beverage that raises the blood pressure and damages your teeth. Do you want it?

Instead of this: It is the best if ice cooled, Cola ... pure drink of natural flavours. The advertisement does not lie just presents the information adequately. It is more difficult to sell workforce because we are standing opposite a rational consumer but the presentation of information is of big significance. Let us get acquainted with the needs.

Strange Questions During Job Interviews

The majority of job seekers already know that questions that may appear during job interviews hardly ever occur in our everyday talks. “What is his most serious mistake, where would he like to be in five years’ time?” There are hardly any inexperienced candidates who would be surprised by questions like these. Although, the world turns round even with the experienced job hunter when the leader of the interview asks “what kind of animal would you like to be, and why?”

The Essence of CV Writing

The most important task of a curriculum vitae from the HR manager’s point of view is to filter unsuitable applicants.

It must contain the staff specification (qualification, experience, possibly language knowledge). If it contains this precisely, unsuitable applicants can be filtered out (it is supposed that 90 per cent of the applicants are not suitable for the essential criteria.)

If The Salary Was Not Mentioned

If it is possible, we should wait until the employer brings up the topic of the payment. If it is too early, starting talking about the money by you is a mistake, because then you seem to be materialistic. It is better if the discussion of salary starts when you have already sold yourself, that is the employer sees you as a desirable person who is worth taking on.

If the employer offers very little, let him know immediately. However, you can count on the fact that you have to make a statement.

Motivation Letter Sent In E-mail

An experienced job hunter knows well that he has to enclose his motivational letter in the envelope beside the curriculum vitae. But where should he put his letter, if he sends the documents electronically? What does the job seeker have to keep in mind if he would like to get a real position by sending his virtual letter?

Negligent Hiring of Bus Drivers

This repeated allegation brought to light questions about why the bus driver was allowed to continue to work in light of the nature of his first allegation. The Chicago public school system has nearly 2,000 different routes that are operated by a number of transportation providers. Because of this high volume of routes and bus drivers, they are unable to verify and update the background checks of every employee of these independent companies. The school system must, therefore, trust in the proper hiring practices of these companies.
